How to use the ASUS UX21E series USB Charger function as follows:

ASUS UX21E-DH71

No. Step one: Confirm to turn on the USB charge function in the BIOS

1. When you turn on the computer and see the ASUS LOGO screen, press the [F2] key 2~3 times to enter the BIOS.

2. Select the [Advanced] menu-->[USB CHARGE]-->[Enable].

3. Press [F10] to save changes and exit.

Step 2: Open the USB charger plus software

 (If the software is not installed, please download and install it from the ASUS official website. After the installation is successful, it will appear in the start page -Asus Utility), right-click the USB Charger Plus icon in the lower right corner of the desktop, select [Settings], check the box next to "Turn on fast charging when the system is in sleep/hibernation/shutdown mode" and press [OK]. By default, the fast charging function automatically stops when the laptop's power is less than 25%. You can adjust this setting yourself if needed. (There is a lightning-shaped shutdown charging symbol next to the USB interface)

Step 3: Confirm that the USB device is connected to the correct USB interface

Only USB interfaces with lightning-like symbols support the shutdown charging function)

If the above steps are correct and USB Charger still cannot be implemented, please note the following two points:

1. USB Charger only supports Charging lower-voltage electronic devices, such as MP3s, mobile phones, and iPads. If the device has higher voltage requirements, it may not be supported.

2. The USB Charger and Instant On functions cannot be used at the same time. Please confirm that Instant On is in the Disabled state.
